Who We Are

The Iranian Students and Academicians' Union in North America (ISAUNA) is a non-profit, nonpolitical organization dedicated to the interests of Iranian-American academic community.

Made from diverse network of students, graduates, and professors across North America, ISAUNA works towards introducing and supporting groundbreaking ideas for improving the social status through academic or career opportunities available to the Iranian-American community. ISAUNA achieves its goals through providing public education, supporting research projects on Iranian-American community, and creating a salutary dialogue among different cultures.

The second issue of Iris has now been published. This issue features articles written by Ph.D. students in California, Texas, Canada and Sweden and covers a variety of topics about science, history, the economy, and more

 
ISAUNA will participate in the 13th Annual Persian Festival of Autumn (Mehregan) scheduled for October 11-12, 2008 at the Orange County Fair & Exposition Center, 88 Fair Drive Costa Mesa, CA 92626. Mehregan 2008 is dedicated to “World Peace.” We will present our current projects and welcome any ideas or support.

 
ISAUNA is pleased to introduce Iris, the first Iranian inter-university student magazine published by Iranian-American students. Iris features articles written by Ph.D. students and professionals in their fields of expertise and will be published quarterly
